Lincoln Center Festival (LCF) is the annual international performing arts festival held every July celebrating the finest in theater, dance, opera, classical and contemporary music, and interdisciplinary arts from around the world.

Lincoln Center’s Editorial Department oversees all aspects of the Lincoln Center Festival house programs.

The LCF House Programs Intern will work alongside the House Programs Editor to research, gather, edit and/or supplement artists’ program notes, format program layout, create individual house program books for Playbill venues, proofread galleys, coordinate approval of final program notes with LCF producers, artists, and Development department; producing any program inserts, coordinating delivery of programs to venues, and gathering all program books for archives. The House Programs intern will have the opportunity to participate in brainstorming sessions and other weekly meetings and outings with the rest of the Editorial team.

Graduate or undergraduate students may apply. English, Communications, or Journalism majors preferred. Those with a passion for the arts, interest in an arts management career, and who possess administrative support experience, initiative, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor preferred.

Internships are paid. During Festival time, applicants must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays on short notice and must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States through September 2016.   Interns are paid $11/hour for a 40-hour work week with some overtime. This is a seasonal position from May 2017 through late July of 2017.

Approximate Dates of the internship are mid-May through Late July 2017
