Lincoln Center Corporate Fund

DESCRIPTION

A superb example of an effective business/arts partnership, the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund (LCCF) makes it possible for corporations, related foundations, and professional firms to provide vital unrestricted funds to eight world-class performing arts organizations and two acclaimed educational institutions resident at Lincoln Center including: The Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, The Juilliard School, New York City Ballet, Film Society of Lincoln Center, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Lincoln Center Theater, The School of American Ballet, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

With one gift, corporations and firms can support all 10 of these organizations to the maximum effect, allowing for creative educational programming, exciting new productions, and free performances. In consideration for their support, the Fund accords donors substantial public recognition and a variety of privileges across the Lincoln Center campus. Members of the Leadership Committee, Women’s Leadership Council, Media and Entertainment Council, Business Council, Junior Women’s Council, Junior Business Council, and Real Estate and Construction Council assist the Fund in its mission.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Work alongside the Managing Director, Manager, and LCCF team on a variety of projects, which include:

-Prospect research and database management to improve campaign strategy
-Assist with special events
-Help in planning and implementing
-Assist with day-of-event volunteer recruitment and management
-Assist in the development of the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund’s online presence
-Fulfillment of corporate donor benefits, including
-Provide employee activity managers at contributing companies with information about site visits, employee discounts, and upcoming productions and special events via website postings, mailings, and e-blasts
-Track benefit fulfillment
-Draft and write copy for invitations and benefit-related materials
-Other responsibilities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

-Interest in arts management, fundraising, and marketing preferred
-Excellent verbal communication skills, experience working with the public
-Good writing skills required
-Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
-Experience with ClearView CRM preferred, but not required
-Ability to communicate clearly across teams and hit multiple project deadlines
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, results driven and motivated by project management

Approximate dates of Lincoln Center Corporate Fund internship: January 2018 – May 2018 (flexible dates, possible extension).
