CELEBRATED FASHION JOURNALISTS LAUNCH FIRSTCOMESFASHION.COM

Lincoln Center to Carry Content on its Fashion at Lincoln Center Web Site (www.Fashionatlincolncenter.org) during upcoming Fashion Week

New York, August 18, 2010 – First Comes Fashion, a comprehensive website offering real-time coverage of fashion throughout the year from some of the industry’s most noted broadcast journalists, announced their launch to be timed to the first season of Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, September 9-16, 2010. The channel will offer extras not available from other fashion news sources including, expert commentary from the trusted team that created Full Frontal Fashion, daily video content, and a virtual front row seat with live streaming from the shows and parties. In its inaugural week, First Comes Fashion will also provide the same content to www.fashionatlincolncenter.org, the new the official website promoting the year round fashion activities at Lincoln Center, the world’s largest performing art center.

First Comes Fashion is poised to become the definitive digital hub for fashion content. In addition to runway footage, the site will include coverage of additional events surrounding Fashion Week, reports on what designs are currently in store, and will spotlight the trends seen on NYC streets. This and our designer interviews will be presented by First Comes Fashion’s team of influential fashion commentators, including the co-creators of Full Frontal Fashion, Judy Licht and Robert Verdi, as well as style experts James Aguiar (The Style Channel’s The Look for Less/ the host of Full Frontal Fashion/former fashion director of Bergdorf Goodman); Christina Ha (WNET’s Sunday Arts); Lloyd Boston (HGTV’s Closet Cases/Style at Any Age); and Constance White (Ebay Style Director) and Brian Boye (Fashion Director, Men’s Health). The site will also present party coverage from esteemed celebrity photographer, Patrick McMullan, and beauty trend reports from Suze Yalof Schwartz, Executive Fashion Editor at Large for Glamour Magazine.

“There is a growing trend for individual designers to live stream their shows and we see a need in providing the editorial viewpoint that follows,” says Ms. Licht, Style Director of First Comes Fashion. We will aggregate that content, and provide backstage reporting via a unique online channel that provides a viewing experience that users can control.”

Through its collaboration with Fashion at Lincoln Center (FALC), First Comes Fashion will provide live streaming and additional creative customized video content for the FALC website. Additionally, the two entities will work together to create interactive components that will have multiple cross-platform applications.

“Our collaborative effort represents the evolution of fashion coverage,” said Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Director of Fashion at Lincoln Center. “Collectively, we saw a clear need to create a platform that amplifies the experience of the event throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, delivers sought-after content in real time, and makes all of this accessible to a wider audience.”
