To kick off the 26th season of Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing, New York’s hottest outdoor dance party, which runs from June 25 through July 12

 

WHO:              

At Macy’s: The Brooklyn Bombshells, a high-energy, high-flying dance troupe who just won first place in New York’s Coney Island Mermaid Parade

In Damrosch Park: at 7:30 Jazz artist extraordinaire Cécile McLorin Salvant with big band

Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks

                                 

WHERE:          

Macy’s Herald Square: Main Broadway entrance (Between 34th and 35th under the marquee)

Damrosch Park: West 62nd St., between Columbus & Amsterdam

 

MORE:            

Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing is 15 nights of dancing under the stars to some of the world’s greatest dance bands.  Each night begins with a professional dance lesson at 6:30 pm. Live music and dancing are at 7:30 pm until 10 pm.   Multi-evening Swing Passes are priced at $60 for four nights, $84 for six nights, and $170 for the full season.  Tickets for individual evenings are $17. Tickets and passes can be purchased on site and through CenterCharge, 212-721-6500, or by logging on to www.MidsummerNightSwing.org, where there is the complete schedule for the series.
