A frequent guest of both Great Performers and the Mostly Mozart Festival, music director Iván Fischer brings his Budapest Festival Orchestra to Lincoln Center for two concerts. The performance features soprano Anna Lucia Richter in three melodies by Felix Mendelssohn’s sister Fanny, a prolific and talented composer in her own right, as well as a performance of Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 and Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto by the award-winning German artist Isabelle Faust.

The Budapest Festival Orchestra’s second concert features celebrated violinist Pinchas Zukerman in Mozart’s Violin Concert No. 5. Also on the program is the composer’s Overture to Die Zauberflöte and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1.
